Community holds 18th birthday parade for Painesville girl with Down syndrome

PAINESVILLE, Ohio (WJW) — Painesville neighborhood members are holding a parade to have fun the 18th birthday of a lady with Down syndrome.

Kayla Lawson turned 18 on Friday. She was dissatisfied that her family and friends couldn’t have fun along with her due to the coronavirus pandemic, so the neighborhood stepped as much as make her day particular.

The parade begins at 5:30 p.m. on Arden Avenue. eight to 13 vehicles are anticipated to take part.
